Results My First Two Years of (Inconsistently) Writing
An Analysis on my Earnings, Best Stories, and Future Goals
I have been writing on Medium since June of 2021. I heard that it was a great way to organize and express my thoughts in tech, while making some money as a creator fairly easily.
Newsflash: I did not get rich by doing this, but I think this insight will be valuable for those considering writing on here!
I believe there is a path to making real money here if you stay consistent and are able to publish high quality content several times per week.
Without further ado, here are my unimpressive numbers after over two years of very inconsistently writing. Enjoy!
Best Month:
In August of 2021 I had my best month — I wrote 4 new stories, and totaled $21.57 for that month. I had 2 successful stories, one making it into BetterProgramming publication, which helps your views go up by a lot.
Highest Earning Story:
